Adams Detailing ("we," "us," or "our") operates this website and provides in-person and mobile vehicle detailing services in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and the surrounding area. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

This policy covers our website only. It does not cover information you give us verbally or in writing when booking or receiving a detailing service in person, which we handle in the ordinary course of running the business and only use to schedule, perform, and follow up on your service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in a few different ways:

• Information you provide directly. When you join our PPF & Wrap waitlist, we collect the email address you enter. When you book a service through our online booking system, the booking provider (see Section 4) collects the contact and vehicle information needed to schedule and confirm your appointment.
• Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we automatically log standard technical information when you visit — your browser type, device type, general location (city/region level, inferred from IP address), pages viewed, and how you arrived at the site.
• Cookies and similar technologies. We use a first-party cookie to recognize repeat visits and, where applicable, to credit an appointment or inquiry back to the ad or post that brought you here. If you arrive via a link that includes a campaign identifier, we store that identifier in the same cookie. See Section 3 for details.

2. How We Use Information

• To schedule, confirm, and follow up on detailing appointments
• To respond to inquiries and waitlist sign-ups
• To understand which pages, services, and marketing channels visitors find useful, so we can improve the site and our advertising
• To send updates about services you've asked about (like the PPF & Wrap waitlist) — we do not sell email addresses or share them with unrelated third parties for their own marketing

3. Cookies, Pixels & Advertising Technologies

We use a first-party cookie (mos_click_id, stored for 30 days) to recognize your browser across visits and to attribute inquiries to the marketing that generated them. This cookie does not identify you personally on its own.

We also use, or may use, advertising and analytics pixels from third-party platforms — for example, the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel — to measure how our ads perform and to show relevant ads to people who have visited this site. These platforms may set their own cookies and collect data about your visit under their own privacy policies:

• Meta Privacy Policy (covers the Meta/Facebook Pixel)
• Google Privacy Policy (covers Google Fonts and any Google advertising/analytics tags in use)

You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies through the Digital Advertising Alliance or, for Meta specifically, through your Facebook Ad Preferences.

4. Third-Party Services We Use

Certain features on this site are provided by other companies, each governed by its own privacy policy:

• Online booking — appointment scheduling is handled through our booking provider, which collects the contact and vehicle details needed to book and manage your appointment.
• Google Maps — the map on this site is embedded from Google and is subject to Google's privacy policy.
• Google Fonts & Font Awesome — used to load the typefaces and icons on this site.
• Hosting & infrastructure — this site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard server logs (IP address, request data) to operate the site.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

• With service providers who need it to help us operate the site or run the business (e.g., our booking platform, hosting provider, advertising platforms as described above)
• If required to by law, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of Adams Detailing or others
• If the business is sold or transferred, in which case customer information would transfer as part of that transaction

6. Data Retention

We keep waitlist and inquiry information for as long as it's useful for the purpose it was collected — generally until you ask us to delete it or the waitlist/promotion it relates to has concluded. Booking and appointment records are retained by our booking provider per their own retention practices.

7. Your Choices

• You can ask us to remove your email from our waitlist or contact list at any time by emailing us (see Section 9).
• You can clear or block cookies through your browser at any time. Doing so may affect how some features of the site (like remembering your visit) work.
• You can opt out of interest-based advertising as described in Section 3.

8. Children's Privacy

This website and our services are directed at adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
