These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of this website and your booking of detailing services with Adams Detailing ("we," "us," or "our"), located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. By using this site or booking a service with us, you agree to these Terms.
We provide interior detailing, exterior detailing, complete detailing, paint correction, and maintenance care packages, as described on our Services page, at our Cedar Rapids studio and, where noted, as a mobile service within our service area. Services are provided by appointment.
Mobile detailing requires access to an outdoor water source and a dedicated power connection at the service location. Paint correction and ceramic coating services are performed only at our studio, where we can control dust and temperature.
Appointments are scheduled through our online booking system or by phone. A card is held on file to secure your appointment; no deposit is charged upfront. Final charges are processed after service is complete, based on the package booked and any condition-based adjustments disclosed at check-in (see Section 4).
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment without penalty. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in a deposit being required for future bookings.
Published packages assume standard soil levels for a vehicle of typical size. Excessive pet hair, mud, heavy staining, mold, biological hazards, or oversized trucks/SUVs may require additional labor and time, which can adjust the final price. Any such adjustment will be communicated to you at check-in, before work begins, whenever practical.
We conduct a walkaround inspection before beginning work to note the vehicle's condition and confirm the scope of service. Please let us know about any pre-existing damage, aftermarket parts, loose trim, non-functioning electronics, or prior repaint work before service begins.
Paint correction reduces swirls, oxidation, haze, and light scratches using machine polishing; it does not repair scratches that have broken through the clear coat, dents, or damage requiring bodywork or repainting. We prioritize preserving your clear coat over aggressive correction, and we'll give you an honest assessment of what can and can't be corrected before any machine work begins.
Please remove personal belongings from the glove box, center console, and trunk before your appointment. We are not responsible for items left in the vehicle during service.
While your vehicle is at our studio, it is kept in a monitored, access-controlled space. We use pH-balanced products, non-marring wash media, and manufacturer-appropriate tools and techniques suited to your vehicle's surfaces. If we identify a condition during service that we believe requires a different approach than originally booked, we'll contact you before proceeding.
We take reasonable care with every vehicle, but detailing inherently involves handling vehicles with existing wear, aftermarket modifications, or unknown prior repair history. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from a service is limited to the cost of the service in question, except where a defect or damage is directly caused by our negligence. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, items left in the vehicle, or issues arising from previously undisclosed damage or repairs.
We may photograph vehicles before and after service (for example, for before/after documentation) unless you ask us not to. We do not publish identifying information (license plates, owner name) alongside these photos without permission.
This website and its content — including text, images, and the Adams Detailing name and logo — belong to Adams Detailing and may not be copied or reused without permission. Our online booking tool is provided by a third-party platform and is subject to that provider's own terms in addition to these.
We may update these Terms from time to time as our services or policies change. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continuing to use our services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
